“Its been some time coming – The Opening Day of my New Website!”
A huge learning curve trying to fit all the information technology platforms together and to make everything work. Those links and menus and all that information. The hardest part for me is to try and make everything doable and understandable for all. I want this website to be a place that you can frequent and maybe get a bit of inspiration in putting together some positive healthy lifestyle changes that develop into, simply feeling better and being able to smile and perhaps move away from ill-health. But Remembering too that I am Here if and when you desire to reach out.
I have shared my story and I do this to the whole world on here! – by sharing it I am hoping to reach out to those of you who may resonate with me, or perhaps have a similar experience in life – you may wish to reach out to me when the need arises. I am here because I know how important it is to have someone! (that one person) that understands the deep-down inner pain, who has been there and come through without too many scratches so to speak. It has been a tough journey, but without my journey I would not be feeling so inspired and so passionate about what I have to share with you today.
It is only you who knows how you truly feel and whether you need to make this journey too! It is your decision alone – but although it too may be a tough journey (nothing ventured nothing gained), I am here to guide and make that journey a doable one if you so choose to share with me.
When you suffer with pain, inflammation and a medical diagnosis and follow your doctors' advice religiously but with no relief, it is totally frustrating and leads you onto many paths looking for answers. Many years of searching finally brought me upon the Nutritional Therapy Associations (NTA) Australia/NZ website and I read the course program over and over again thinking how it truly did resonate with everything I believed in. You can read this experience on my about page, but to explain further – this journey with NTA has given me some exceptional tools to help others move forward to positively make healthy life choices and change the path towards restorative health.

"All disease begins in the gut"
Our Diets have a very important impact on our overall health – Our gut needs some very important attention and until we realise the connection between our gut and our bodies cell health including the connection to our brains - until we understand this connection fully – I do not believe we can fully commit to making significant changes in our lives and addressing underlying issues. The need is to get to the bottom of things – find the causation to why dysfunction has arisen.
An overall wholistic approach!
We can see significantly good results, by seeing a good functional medical doctor for appropriate blood tests and faecal analysis if required, we are able to work on the area of root cause of illness rather than the conventional methods of only treating the symptoms as they occur. The medications that are prescribed often fail to address the underlying cause and while they may be effective in the short term, they are not a long-term solution. Treatments involving immunosuppressant drugs increase the risk of infections and cancer when taken for long periods of time - therefore we need to consider this in our overall support strategy. Consider a wholistic approach! as working in a team is a much better approach to getting ultimate results.
"I know from personal experience how overwhelming and confusing and even scary the diagnosis can be!"
I also know what medicines can offer and that the symptom relief is only short-lived before either an increase in dosage is required or yet another medicine needs to be trialled. This process can be very taxing and impacts on being able to function from day-to-day.
Today I have finally found a place of healing for my body, with very few medications and a wholesome nutritious diet!
My lifestyle has improved dramatically and I am able to work again, travel and spend quality time with family without any unexpected turns of ill-health or infections. This is why I urge each and every one of my readers to seek and find a functional medicine physician or a general practitioner who is happy to work alongside your desired achievements to seek better health. I am very happy to work alongside your doctor in an effort to find root cause and to find where your body requires extra assistance – and to achieve your specific and personal goals.
I truly believe that it is about what your personal goals are in life. The questions we need to ask ourselves are: –
· Do I want to feel different?
· Am I ready to make change? And
Then commit to your decision! If it’s a resounding ‘Yes’ and you need that bit of extra assistance. Don’t be alone – reach out and connect.
